Opinions on long hair on a boy?

My little boy sonny has curls, we are not sure if they’ll stay once it’s cut so have been rocking a surfer vibe
He keeps getting mistaken for a girl though.

My son has red hair and his hair was just as curly, I adored it. I cried when he had his first hair cut:( the curls never came back.

My son is the same way. 15 months hair past his shoulders with curls. Everyone always thinks He is a girl.
But he has this very pretty strawberry blond hair and I just can’t seem to wanna get it cut. I’m just going to wait I think.

My son got called a girl all the time bc of his curly hair and I just kept letting it grow. Him being called a girl never bothered me bc it was mainly by people that we didn’t know. I love long hair on boys it’s so cute! But his curls did start to fall out￼ a little bit and he was getting really sweaty all the time and his dad hated when I pulled his hair in a bun so I made the decision to cut it bc his dad never wanted it long but I just loved it so much.

His hair still has curl to it and I swear I cried when I saw him with short hair lol my baby left and a big boy came back and I wasn’t ready for how different he was going to look lol

I think it's so cute!!! My one month old has wavy hair and I'm not sure if it's going to turn into curls. We're going to just let it grow out.  😆

My son had long hair for the 1st 2 years of his life! Didnt have a haircut at all until then, and I loved it of course but I feel like at some point it was hendering him more than anything bc we had to constantly keep it out of his face and he got tired of it. He's 2 1/2 now and I dont plan on growing his hair long again unless he wants to. He always got mistaken for a girl too 😅 But I absolutely love long hair on boys!!

My son is 3(will be 4 end of September). He has had 3 haircuts. He has curls like the OP’s son. It causes him to constantly touch his face trying to keep his hair out of his eyes and he gets sweaty in the summer. But he still wants his hair long. Took us weeks to convince him to cut his hair this time. Afterwards, he likes it but still says he likes when his hair is longer better. 
So if it isn’t causing any issues, just keep it. Doesn’t matter what others think or say. They are little for a very short amount of time. If you like his hair and he likes it, keep it as it is.

I love seeing little boys with long hair. Both mine have long hair, my oldest has had 2 haircuts to his shoulders and my youngest hasn't had one yet. I think it makes them look so much more like young kids and they love shaking their hair around 😆 they do often get mistaken for girls but I just don't care. Even if they're dressed clearly like boys ahahaha but it just doesn't matter, people will say what they will regardless.
