Bleeding after sex?

Hey girls, I need some help. My period came and passed this month already on June 18 to the 23rd. I had sex with my partner last night and we tried a different position than we normally do, he was a little rough, and afterwards I ended up bleeding. At first it was brown and I thought it’d go away after a shower, but when I woke up this morning, I was bleeding and still am. It’s turned into a brownish red. It’s not bright red as it is when I’m on my period, but it feels like I’m on my period all of a sudden. Cramps, lower back ache, mild nausea, and even the need to poo. I should note that we also had sex Sunday the 26th and I took a contraceptive Monday the 27th. Not sure if the pill would have this kind of side effect, it never has before. I’ve never had this happen or felt like this before so I don’t know if I should give it some time to go away or make an appt to my dr / gyno. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated. Thanks. 💋
