Baby tantrums - help ftm
I literally have no idea what to do because this whole time it's always been attend to your babies needs immediately, if they wanna be held hold them, like everyone online put a huge emphasis on attending to babies needs immediately so they can have a secure attachment style and all this. But I feel like it's at a point where these are full blown tantrums. I didn't even know 11 month olds had tantrums as I'm a ftm, I always thought it was a toddler thing.
My daughter will scream and throw herself on the floor when I put her down or when I leave the room. If she doesn't want to be in the high chair she will bang and scream and throw her weight.
If she is having trouble reaching for something or climbing something she will fall out and scream and cry out of frustration. If I try to ignore the behavior because I am busy or talk to her calmly explaining I'm washing baba I'm almost done I know you're frustrated etc it has no effect she just gets louder and louder and the tears just keep rolling..
There are so many instances but these are the only ones I can think of but it's just every 10 minutes she's upset about something
The only way she will be calm is if I am carrying her or holding her. If I hold her or carry her the house will be peaceful. If not, it's tantrums and screaming and falling out all day. Literally all day. It's so exhausting I'm getting depressed. I don't know how to fix this.
