How old before you can trust kids enough in the bath to pop into the kitchen to get coffee?

I'm too pessimistic to leave my 3 year old right now, but since I'm stuck in the bathroom, figured I'd ask other parents.   😅

I made my 2yro (turning 3 in Nov) sing a song while I ran to do something. At least if I can hear her singing, she's not underwater 😅

My oldest is 3.5, and I have went across the hall to put the kids laundry away, or ran downstairs for something. Not long, but I feel like he’s fine. He usually is making so much noise I know he’s fine. Felt safe to do that for a couple of months now.

I've been in and out of the bathroom while he's in the bath since he was about two. Now, he's four and I don't worry at all. I also know his dad puts the monitor in the bathroom and watches him from downstairs that way.

My son is almost 2 and now I don't worry about him drowning in the bath as much anymore but I never leave him to go downstairs. The farthest I'll go is the bedroom beside of the bathroom for a few seconds to set up his diaper and outfit

We live in a small place- only one floor and I leave the door open when my 3 year old takes a bath and I go do what I need to. I just make sure the razor and shampoos (he likes to empty them 🙄) are out of reach when he gets in.

Like others have mentioned - 4 years old, but still with low water, frequent checks, and not being more than a couple feet or so from the bathroom. 
My son started liking showers a lot at 3&1/2 ish … we had nonslip stuff in the shower, so I’d occasionally be in the livingroom while he showered (the livingroom was super close to the bathroom still tho & I still checked on him like every few mins)

My kids don’t have baths, they only have showers & I sometimes go to my son’s bedroom to put laundry away which is right next door to the bathroom. Plus my son’s are loud so would know if something went wrong 😣
