Is this normal or should I go to the ER? (Possibly miscarriage)

(Very TMI) So I am on the depo shot and have been for about two years and my period has been completely gone for one of those years but on the 7th I randomly started my period and it’s been extremely heavy I was bleeding straight out of the products I usually use and then this morning cramping woke me up and I pulled my pants to find this, I read everything on Google, the shape and color really freaked me out. It was about the size of my thumb.

Are you getting positive pregnancy tests? If you’re testing negative, this is not a miscarriage. You mentioned depo. This is notorious for causing you to shed decidual casts. Look that up. That’s what this likely is. Don’t go to the ER unless you begin soaking through a pad an hour or develop excruciating pain. Passing a bit of tissue is not an emergent situation. You can call your GYN on Monday. Good luck!
