Cramps from orgasm near period

Was curious as to if anyone else gets this? Every time either right before my period or during my period when I have an orgasm or was close to one I get extremely painful menstrual cramps. When I look it up online all I can find are articles saying how sex and reaching an orgasm can alleviate cramps but yet for me it’s the complete opposite. It feels like this isn’t normal or something because it isn’t something I’ve heard of happening to anyone else
