Pain During Sex

The struggle is real. My husband and I have been married for 11 years this August and together longer than that as high school sweethearts. We are now in our mid-30s with two small children. My hormones are regulating from breastfeeding and we are going at it much more often again like we used to. I have endo. I had a lap when I was 27 and then went on to have our two littles. Before the kids, I know there was endo on my cervix and I’d sometimes bleed from intercourse. Lately, in certain positions, it feels like he’s hitting my insides and it’s actually quite painful. Tonight there was actually a good bit of blood. It feels good to a point but if he goes to hard it’ll catch me for guard and hurt. He feels awful about it and I can tell he was trying to be careful tonight and without me saying anything he knew if he pushed in all the way it was hurting me. Is there anything that can be done for this other than not using certain positions? We are rather adventurous and I don’t want to lose our spark now that I’m out of that post partum funk. I notice the pain at different points throughout the month so maybe some of its hormonal? Before anyone says about his size, he’s about 6.5 inches and the only person I’ve ever been with but I think that’s pretty average. Does anyone else experience this? 😔
