Vbac or C-section

Bethany

Hi ladies! I’m 24, married. We are expecting our 2nd baby in March 2023. I have been considering a Vbac birth since before I got pregnant this time. I have researched some & learned there is some reasons it can’t be done. They only one I’m really concerned about is maybe the reason for my C-section. All I remember is I with my daughter, I was past my due date & was induced at 40 weeks I believe. I was in labor for only 18 hours with very mild contractions & I only dilated to a 7. Since I wasn’t having any more progress & my water had already be broken, my Dr suggested a C-section. I’m not sure what the reason was for me not progressing. Of course I can ask my Dr. when I see her. I will also have to ask her about my internal scar; if it’s horizontal or vertical. & my only other concern is that I live in Arkansas & I’m not sure if the hospital my Dr. is at is Vbac approved. If not that is really a bummer. I used this Dr. with my daughter & I absolutely loved her & would love to use her again this pregnancy. My plan is to talk with her & if she’s on board great! & if not I am welcome to Dr. Suggestions near me. I am in South Arkansas! I atleast plan to try & have a tolac birth meaning I don’t want to be induced this time around. Thanks for reading & for any suggestions! ♥️😊
