Should I test?

Me and my honey have been ttc for almost 4 months and it's been hard due to my irregular periods and other issues. How ever this month I'm super late. I want to test to see if I am, but I am just scared of getting another negative should I wait it out or test?

In 'what to expect when  your expecting' it says that if u have irregular periods to wait the number of days that ur longest cycle has been in the last 6 months before testing e.g. If in the last 6 months your longest cycle was 40 days,  wait till day 40 to test.

That said, if you are feeling stressed over it that could cause your period to be late too, so testing might help to put your mind at rest as to whether it's a BFP or just AF running late.

I went through the same thing. My husband and I were TTC for over a year and my periods were very irregular. Once they finally regulated and we had decided to not stress about getting pregnant. A month later I found out I was 4weeks! Lol good luck honey!
