What’s the new terminology?
So I’m probably showing my age here, but I’ve noticed a lot of younger people in their 20’s referring to their significant other as either their “partner” or their “other” and RARELY use the terms “boyfriend” or “girlfriend”. Now, I completely get how “boyfriend” or “girlfriend” sounds juvenile, but is this a “thing” now? Is boyfriend or girlfriend out and partner or other in?? I’m so out of the loop 🙈
