Pre marital home/divorce/kids -help-

I’m really needing some solid advice on a situation I’m learning to deal with and handle..

I’m 2016 when my son was born my husband bought a house he is still paying the mortgage on..We were not married at this time..but together..my name was not put on anything…fast forward we got married July 2020 …we have officially been married for only two years but have know each other for 10 years and share two children together…recently he did a major amount of renovations to the house we are in (his house) but claims he paid ALL CASH for these renovations…he got a huge garage installed in the back of the house that I believe my name was on the loan for that, he also had me sign a loan for his company (car dealer) for him to buy more cars..

I believe he began his business a little before we got married…any way…

My husband filed for divorce about two weeks ago.

I have not been served yet. He claims it’s all in the process because I keep asking when I’ll be receiving the papers..He claims he filed The divorce uncontested but if I’m being served by a sheriff that’s not uncontested…

I got in touch with two different attorneys myself for advice and they are the ones that told me that if it’s uncontested it would be mailed I have not obtained a lawyer yet I also asked them when I would be served and they just said it depends they never really gave me a straightforward answer , I told my husband I’ve been speaking to a lawyer and he seriously told me to not waste my money that I need to represent myself LOL 😂 He lost his mind with that…any way, both attorneys said I do not have to leave the house ., but I can leave and that eventually id have to leave…but I don’t have any where to go…I’m a home maker…no job etc…I did try to go to my moms for 2 days and my cats and kids were miserable and it just wasn’t a fit for us…I have 3 kids (2 with him and 1 from a previous) basically I’m just trying to figure out how this works exactly and what I CAN do…this is my kids home and they start school next week..I’ve been sleeping on the couch..he took over our bedroom and made it all for himself but does ask me to sleep in the bed every now and again..he still on and off has intimacy with me but then tells me to leave his room…I’m losing my mind over this…it’s hot and cold behavior from him…he won’t do counseling, he also keeps saying he’s not throwing us out but thinks if I won’t work with him on his terms that it’s best I leave…also has said we can get divorced and still be together… (lost his mind on that) I’m scattered I tried to add as much detail as possible..advice from someone familiar of these situations or any lawyers on here that could possibly help in any way.:.thank you 💛
