Horrible pediatrician experience

Omg! I can’t even believe this doctor 😤 we tried to find a new pediatrician as our old one doesn’t take our insurance anymore. This one had good reviews so we figured we would try- WRONG CHOICE

Started with the doctor refusing to believe she was 6 months old because “the system says she’s 5 months”…. Uh- trust me I know when I birthed my baby. You can also count on your fingers if that helps ??

Then he tried to take her pulse by squeezing the crap out of her inner thigh/ groin area. Well of course she started screaming her head off & crying and he was like “well because I couldn’t get the pulse I’ll have to refer you to cardiology for a sonogram otherwise she might have renal failure”… uh- what?! What kind of irresponsible medicine is that? Because she’s screaming and twisting away from something that hurts, now she needs a specialist?

Then it ended with him flat out saying to my husband who is trying to calm our screaming baby down “oh take her to the front they will give her a lollipop to calm her down” A LOLLIPOP?! SHE IS 6 MONTHS OLD! Even if you overlook the fact it’s a huge choking risk to give a baby hard candy, what infant needs artificial sugar and coloring like that??

Omg. Sorry I just had to vent! We will definitely not be back there 😤 here’s the offensive lollipop and my cute daughter just because I wanna show her off too lol 😂
