It blows my mind the jobs people make fun of

People constantly mock me for my husband being a garbage man. He drives the truck and everything. Thing is... My husband makes a lot of money being a garbage man. Our insurance is amazing and he gets 20 weeks paternity leave. 12 of those weeks paid. I'm a teacher and I have to use all my sick leave if I want to get "paid" for my leave when this baby comes. I feel if people knew more about this job and the amazing benefits he gets they wouldn't mock him so much.
