Will you be asking grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. to get the whooping cough vaccine before holding baby?

My husband seems to think it's an extreme request. My sister in law had a baby last August and didn't ask us to get one.

I made my family do it. My daughter isn't old enough to be vaccinated herself so We need to protect her in every way We can.

I'm not making it a requirement but I am offering to pay for it and I'm trying to mention it a lot lol. Nobody really wants to get it, so I send them videos of babies that have it to them.. They're starting to come around and I plan on having all of the grandparents, my husband, and I vaccinated ASAP.

My SO, my mom & her boyfriend are getting it. As well as my SO's mom & husband. I'm only asking them because they will be around her daily. No shot, no visitation to my baby.

It's not an unreasonable request if you have ever seen a baby with whooping cough. Not something I would wish on anybody.

Yes, if anyone expects to be around baby the first few weeks they will need to have it. Otherwise they can wait to after baby can be immunized.

My husband got stationed in Hawaii...far, far away from home. Family won't really be around to hold our baby. 😭

Everybody already knows, if you don't have the vaccine you will NOT be allowed around my child. Idc who it is. If grandma doesn't get it then grandma doesn't see the baby if Dad doesn't get it then same for him. I'm not risking my child's life just because you have whatever reason not to get vaccinated.

I think im going to ask my mom and mother in law since theyll probably be around baby the most (besides me and husband of course) but other than that i dont think ill even have that much company. And what do you do? When  someone comes over ask for there paperwork??? Lol

I won't be asking because I anyone in the family that will be around frequently is vaccinated already. Besides, if anyone is remotely sick they'll be asked to come back once they're 100% better instead.
