I can’t talk to my bf

My bf vents about his job to me all the time. I always listen to everything he has to say. I’m always there for him. But I feel like when I vent about my job to him or about anything, it goes in one ear and out the other

I have to ask him to stop looking at his phone to listen to me. And tonight I tried talking to him and when I was in the middle of what I was saying, he started texting one of coworkers ( a female too) about work.

It’s like I don’t get his full attention when I need to talk to him. But he vents to me or talks to me about his day EVERYDAY.
