Baby won’t eat

My baby got rhinovirus we took him to ther we a day ago for a fever that wouldn’t go away they told us he had rhinovirus he was able to eat until the fever got bad, after some Tylenol he could eat a little. Next day comes around his fever is gone but now he refuses to eat. he roots as though he’s hungry and puts breast to his mouth then cries hysterically. We tried spoon feeding, cup and bottle he won’t take anything, he will be 6 months next week. I even tried giving solids he refuses it all. I’m furious bc my ped wouldn’t schedule his follow up today .. idk how long I can watch my baby go hungry or if that’s even okay. He has barely slept. He take short naps and wakes up crying in pain. I don’t know what e else to do
