5dpo is definitely wayyyy too early for a positive.

Studies have shown the most common implantation is 8-10dpo and it takes anywhere from 2-5days after this to get a high enough hcg for a positive test. At 5dpo, if you have conceived, the blastocyst is just about entering your uterus. If you believe the test is positive, you must be much later than 5dpo. 
I know how it feels when you are so desperate to see that second line. It is difficult. Your best bet is to wait till 11/12dpo to test and even then it needs to be a super sensitive test like frer. I wish you luck!

Can’t have a positive at 5dpo. Nothing has happened yet. How are you tracking and confirming ovulation?

This was my test at 7DPO according to Glow. Every body’s body is different! Your test looks convincing to me, especially if you took another one and got a line then duh! 😍
Also the person says it takes 8-10 DPO to implant and another 2-5 to show up??? Have they never taken pregnancy tests lol

Implantation is btw 5dpo they only way you can get a positive this early is with ivf.
