Fibroid and early pregnancy

Based on LMP, I should be 6weeks 2days, I had to go to ER because I’ve been spotting brown blood since yesterday especially after wiping.

HCG show my level to be around 950 but nothing could be seen on the ultrasound. The technician however found several fibroids with the biggest around 8cm.

The doctor confirmed there’s no ectopic pregnancy and that probably I’m a lil behind and the fibroids might be covering it.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Update: it was an ectopic pregnancy.
