Birthday gift - price

So my bf of almost three years and I are celebrating both of our birthdays soon. We decided to buy each other outfits. He got me an expensive dress, necklace, and cardigan. I begged him not to get the cardigan bc it was too much but he did it anyways. When looking for his outfit, he found these really nice pants and sneakers. I love the sneakers and they are $108. im fine with that plus an outfit. But the pants he really loves… they’re $219 🙂. I know he’s gonna probably pay for more of our birthday dinner and I made the reservations/picked out a fancy place to eat, and he’s an amazing bf, he deserves the thing he really wants and I think im gonna just get the sneakers and pants… but im not gonna lie…. it’s a bit steep for me working only part time. I feel bad because his gift to me was pretty expensive, and I know he would tell me not to do anything I can’t financially, but I just can’t help but get the stuff that makes him light up. it’s not so much the price that’s getting me because what he bought me would be around the same amount… it’s more so id rather get him a couple of items for $219!!! rather than pants from an online shop we don’t know about. they are reeeeeally nice though. Idk, I could use some advice. What should I do??
