Help with furniture smell
I bought a new Oxford Baby dresser for the nursery. I didn’t get one that’s Greengold Certified because I was having trouble finding one to meet my specifications. We spent 3 hours putting it together and of course it smells… I’ve had the windows open with a fan on for 2 days and I can still smell it when I walk in the room. It has a white paint finish and I’m afraid to put anything on it that I read might help (eg. baking soda, vinegar). I’ve also read those things can damage the finish so I don’t know what to think.
My friend from out of state is coming on Sat to help me organize and I really want to start putting stuff in there. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can get rid of the smell quickly without ruining the finish?
