What to get for first birthday?!

My neighbor’s baby is turning 1 this month and we’ve all (our families) have gotten close! I just have no idea what to get her baby for her first birthday! Any ideas?!

Tickets to the zoo or an experience similar to this is what I would have preferred over the noisy toddler toys I was bombarded with at my daughters birthday. I’m not sure why everyone thinks birthday = noisy obnoxious toys. Lol

Honestly one of the most used gifts my toddler got were Lego Duplo sets.  Still uses them today and he had a lot of fun with them even if he needed help putting pieces together at the start.

I would get something that is going to last awhile and that she can grow with since she will change so fast within the next year. I would get stuff that is geared towards 1 1/2+ year of age.
