Has anyone successfully started labor with pumping?

39+2 today and wanting to try some things to help encourage labor. Anyone done it before?

I pumped and pumped (15 mins on/off all day) starting at 39 weeks with both of my boys under the encouragement of my OB and I still didn't go into labor until 40 weeks. All I got was sore nipples lol

Didn't do anything, was induced at 41+4..
