Do I offer to cover my portion of the hotel room?

I made the thread about Disney and not being able to afford the trip my friend planned. She’s invited two other people. 
Trip is 7 weeks away. Do I offer to cover my portion of the hotel?
I originally was going to say “I can totally cover my part of the hotel if needed” but idk if that sounds right. I could offer to pay if she can’t find someone to replace me but that opens it up to her not trying to find someone and charging me. I also feel like it’s forcing her to have to find someone.

The trip is 7 weeks out - I remember the original post so that’s where my opinion is coming from. 
She didn’t stay on budget and a family event came up. She has 7 weeks to deal with the cost/find someone/cancel/change dates etc. I’d just cancel the trip and see how she takes it. I wouldn’t be offering offhand when the trip changed so much, all these other people were Involved etc. if you are tight for cash and not going, I’d not be paying anything. I’d have a different opinion if you were canceling the day before or something

Honestly from looking at other comments it seems to me like she changed things and didn’t take anyone into consideration really. So honestly no. You can’t afford there is still 7 weeks she can figure it out or change things again. You have told you can’t afford to go correct if not do that and no longer worry about it since your not going. Life happens either that can be understood or not.

If you can’t afford it, you can’t afford it. She has forced her own hand here by not sticking to budget. It’s hard to tell if you’re going or not. If not, you don’t owe a thing. If you are, a simple “let me know what my portion of the hotel is. I can Venmo you now”.

Nope. Dont offer to pay anything. She did this to herself by going over budget, changing plans etc.
