2.5 year old behavior

I am so done. His behavior has escalated from bad to worse. I refuse to live in a house where if I tell my child no he loses his mind. He starts screaming into a total meltdown. This morning I tried to calm him down and when he would I put him in his room because who wants to hear that in the morning?! All because he wanted oatmeal and I gave it to him but when dad woke up he wanted something else and I told him no because that is wasteful. I’ve tried so many gentle parenting things and it just doesn’t help. He just doesn’t listen. We are on 30 minutes of crying. Over something minuscule. I’m not doing this all day. I really just needed to vent because my patience was almost gone.
