Do you send good morning / good night texts to your SO?

This is given that you don’t see each other when you wake up / go to sleep
My bf and I never do unless we’re on the phone before bed or if we’re texting back and forth before going to bed and then one of us will say good night when they want to sleep. But usually one of us just stops replying because they went to bed lol. Never bothered me but some people have told me it’s weird we’re like that. Idk what to say because I like it and it works for us

Always. My husband deploys a lot and we send emails every day. Always includes a good morning, have a great day, I love you and a good night. Even if he or I get them late, we always say it.

My boyfriend & I are long distance, and we always text good morning & goodnight. Even if he happens to be working until really late or coming home really late from an event, which in case I’d be going to bed before him (normally he goes to bed before I do), then I will still text him goodnight. I honestly would feel some type of way if we didn’t say both everyday. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Me and my husband never did. When we were dating and engaged we never really sent them. Maybe a couple at the very start, but that was all. We were on completely opposite schedules for the days we didn’t see each other so we really only got one long text in a day, sometimes two. So we always had more of just a continuous text chain going rather than saying good morning or good night

When we first were together and didn’t live together or he was gonna before I was up or when he had done over nights or I worked over nights. We are currently long distance and honestly I hate that it does not happen but I’m not gonna be the only one to send them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It honestly depends. My husband leaves for work before I wake up, so generally I will at least say hi and ask how his day is going. On weekends when he’s up before me, it’s pretty hit and miss if I’ll say something or just wait until he gets home.
