this is part 2 because I cannot fit it into one post DISCLAIMER: I took this from Reddit. Im posting this here to spread interest in the trial of nikolas Cruz where they’re deciding life in prison or death row.

I know they added it, but major trigger warning ⚠️⚠️

I will also be correcting a few things that I learned while watching the trial and interviews from the victims and this information came before trial where autopsies were revealed.

Part 2

At 2:22:21pm, Cruz opens fire into room 1214. Nick Dworet (brother of injured victim Alex Dworet), 17, is killed instantly by a gunshot to the head. (⭕️wrong. He was shot once in his chest and it destroyed his heart instantly killing him⭕️) Helena Ramsay, 16, is shot multiple times in her chest and eventually bleeds out. ⭕️wrong. Helena was shot in the head and instantly killed as well as shot in the chest.⭕️)Four other students are injured in this classroom. Sam Grady, a junior, is grazed on the back by a bullet. Samantha Fuentes is shot in her thigh and receives injuries from shrapnel to the face. Isabel Chequer is shot in the arm. Daniela Menescal, a junior, is hit with shrapnel. [This is the room where the infamous Snapchat video of the shooting was taken

At 2:22:39pm, the smoke from Cruz’s weapon sets off the fire alarm. Soon after this, the students on the second floor start to lock down their classrooms and clear the hallways of students and staff. The third floor, unaware of the gunman downstairs, begin to evacuate. Due to a fire drill being conducted earlier that day, many teachers and students are confused as to why a second one is apparently happening.

At this time, school resource officer Deputy Scot Peterson, the only other armed person on campus, issues a radio alert of shots fired after meeting with Medina. “[Be advised we have possible… could be firecrackers. I think we have shots fired, possible shots.” He is seen on CCTV standing at the southeast corner of building 12.

Despite this, a code red, still, has not yet been called. Peterson will never enter the school.

At 2:22:40pm, Cruz returns to room 1216, shooting and killing Alyssa Alhadeff, 14, who is shot a total of ten times. Alaina Petty, 14, is shot in the upper torso/neck and killed. A witness later would describe how Petty’s body slid on the wall before falling to the floor. Two other students, Genesis Valentin and Kheshava Managapuram, are injured. Their injuries are unknown.

At 2:22:49pm, athletic director Chris Hixon, 49, runs into the school unarmed after hearing gunfire. He is shot in the legs by Cruz, and crawls to cover in an alcove at the end of the hall.

At 2:23:06pm, Cruz fires into room 1213, killing Carmen Schentrup, 16, with a gunshot to the abdomen. [In cellphone footage taken in the room] Schentrup can be heard whimpering and moaning in her final moments. ⭕️this is not true. Carmen cannot be heard whimpering and crying. She was shot in the head and instantly killed. The screaming/whimpering and moaning you hear is maddy wilford who was shot and majorly injured. Now, I Really listened to this and I think you may be able to hear Carmen taking her last breaths.,you hear breathing patterns associated with the body systems shutting down, known as the death rattle. She wasn’t aware nor in pain, it was simply her body shutting down, and maddy did not die. The living victims have talked about how Carmen never screamed and they began to worry when maddy stopped. I can only assume the death rattle you can barely hear is carmen ⭕️⭕️Three other students are injured. Madeline Wilford, 17, suffers major gunshot wounds to her abdomen, chest and arm. Benjamin Wikander is shot three times, including his arm. He can be heard begging for help in video. Samantha Mayor is shot in the kneecap.

At 2:23:22pm, Cruz discovers the injured Chris Hixon hidden in an alcove. He shoots him three times in the chest and abdomen.

At 2:23:26pm, football coach Aaron Feis, 37, enters the west end of the stairwell after being alerted to the gunman by Chris McKenna. He drove McKenna to Building 13 on his golf cart before entering. At nearly the exact time, Nikolas Cruz enters the same stairwell, and immediately fires at Feis. Burn marks on his hands suggest Feis tried to disarm Cruz by grabbing the barrel of the gun, but then tried to flee as he was killed by a gunshot to the head. His body lands outside the school, partially through the doorway of the open stairwell entrance.

Nikolas Cruz spent two minutes and thirteen seconds on the first floor of Building 12. He killed 9 students and 2 teachers, and injured 13 others. A code red has not yet been called.

At 2:23:36pm, Cruz enters the second floor of the building. Due to being able to hear gunshots and screams clearer than the third floor, the teachers on the second floor cleared the hallways, locked the doors, and secured their students. Cruz fires into two empty classrooms, and mumbles something along the lines of “no one’s here” to himself.

A code red has not yet been called.

At 2:23:48pm, Deputy Peterson takes refuge between Building 7 and Building 8. [He radios for the intersection to be blocked off. He does not engage the shooter nor urge others to do so. He is still the only other armed person on campus.

Cruz spent fifty-one seconds on the second floor of Building 12.

At 2:24pm, students in the process of evacuating from the third floor hear gunshots and see Cruz. [CCTV shows students fleeing upstairs] after realizing what is happening. Teachers, seeing the panicked students, help gather them in classrooms and do the best they can to clear the hallways. Teachers Stacey Lippel and Scott Beigel, their rooms located just by the entrance to the stairwell, hold the doors open for students to run into.

While helping students take shelter in classrooms, social studies teacher Ernie Rospierski realizes he does not have the keys to his room with him. He has about fifteen students with him, and the keys are locked in his room. He corrals the students into the alcove of his room to protect them the best he can.

At 2:24:31pm, Stacey Lippel sees Cruz emerge from the stairwell door. She motions to neighboring teacher Scott Beigel, 35, to shut his door as he does not have a good view of the shooter. While Lippel locks herself and her students in her room, she is grazed by a bullet on the arm.

Two seconds later, Beigel is shot in the chest and killed instantly. It is believed he was locking his door (MSD doors had to be locked from the outside) when he was killed. ⭕️this was true. His mother released the CCTV footage to the public

At 2:24:34pm, Anthony Borges, 15, uses himself as a human shield to guard a doorway to a classroom with circa twenty people inside. He is shot five times: twice in the right leg, once in the left leg and twice in the torso. He is the most critically wounded victim to survive the shooting.

At \~2:24:35pm, Meadow Pollack, 18, is shot four times and collapses in the alcove of Rospierski’s room. Cara Loughran, 14, is frozen in fear, also hiding in the alcove.

At 2:24:36pm Joaquin Oliver, 17, is shot in the knee. He collapses and takes cover in the alcove of the locked men’s bathroom.

At 2:24:42pm, Broward Sheriff’s deputy Michael Kratz enters caqmpus. He stops around 1,000 feet from Building 12, where the shooter remains. He does not engage the shooter, but blocks traffic instead.

At around 2:24:46pm, Cruz’s weapon jams. He returns to the end of the hallway near Beigel’s body to fix it.

At 2:24:54pm, a code red is called more than five minutes after the shooter’s arrival. Campus monitor Elliott Bonner sees the body of Aaron Feis in the doorway of Building 12 and hears gunshots. The unarmed Bonner calls a code red before backing away from the scene.

At 2:24:57pm, as Cruz is fixing his jammed gun, Rospierski tells his students to run to the stairwell. The students run before he follows, being grazed in his hip and cheek in the process. Student Kyle Laman, around this time, allegedly states “hey, we gotta go, we gotta go” to Joaquin Oliver, who is unable to flee due to his knee injury. When Cruz begins shooting again, Laman suffers a [serious gunshot wound to the foot]), his tendons being near destroyed. Due to the severity of his wound, he should be unable to walk -- much less run -- yet manages to sprint down two stairwells and escape the school. Another student, Marian Kabachenko, is also injured while fleeing, but their injuries are unknown.
