Would you give them away?

I feel obligated to give my husbands brothers gf baby boy clothes my 2 & 4 yr old out grew because she’s having a boy. 
I could just donate to a consignment store and get money back to buy my kids fall and winter clothes. 
My husband told me to give them to them but honestly they take advantage of my husband as it is… and I really need to get the kids’ clothes. 
I might save some for them but not all. It’s probably like $5,000 worth of clothes. And I remember when she threw my sons baby shower they wanted the money back.l from throwing the shower….

If you want to put your time into the consignment sales or make some money, I would keep the cute things you can make money from and give them some cute things. If you have $5,000 worth you should have more than enough for both things

If you have about 5k in clothing, you can expect to walk away with about 12 bucks. You arent going to get ANYWHERE near what you think you will get for them. 
Better to donate to someone you know who can actually use the items rather than "sell" at a lowball price to a store who will mark the items up and turn a profit.
