Do you agree men should have equal rights on keeping a baby

I didn’t really know how to word this just wanted to see how you all felt we all know it takes two to make a baby. We know that the mother can decide to keep or abort or well used to be able to and still can in some states. Do you think it’s fair a father who wants the mother to get a abortion should be legally responsible for the child when the mother keeps the pregnancy & he didn’t want it to begin with, since women have been able to opt out of financial responsibility of the child with abortion? Not trying to offend anyone. Also what if a man wanted the pregnancy and the woman did not? I get that it’s a woman’s body and she isn’t just some incubator for a man but I do feel for both parties in theses situation because is there really a right answer.

Ex. My baby brother was always super cautious with his girlfriend he really trusted her they went to her doc appointments etc together she knew he wasn’t ready for a baby etc. he though she was taking her birth control or still on it but she secretly planned and got pregnant by him, he still was not financially ready for a child and didn’t want one until he finished all his schooling which is years from now she agreed then planned all this behind his back and carried it out. They have since split and she’s threatening child support and everything under the sun because he will not be with her because she’s a liar and did this without his consent. Also they were together for 4 years and for a majority of the time he felt safe with just the birth-control and avoiding sex around her fertile weeks. He knew nothing was 100% but they also both came to the conclusion that if what they were doing didn’t work they would go through with abortion because they weren’t ready.
