Can I do anything else for my bv?

I bought the treatment from canesten where it's 7 days of liquid in tubes you squeeze into your vagina. I am only on day #2 cause I was at work/sleeping for work I did overnights this week and I didn't realize it was bv until it was pretty itchy. It's super itchy right now I can feel the medicine leaking down slowly and it's not helping the itch. Is there anything else I can do it help it?
