Would you be embarrassed?

So I’ve barely had cashier experience. The way my co workers cash out their orders is they cash it out as money but the money is not there. I’ve only messed up once in three years and this is the second time I left the drawer like .70 cents short and it causes problems with paperwork. I don’t mean to do it. It’s just a mess up. But my bosses in front of everyone were playing with me about how they’re gonna yell at me. I was like why did I mess up?? You know curious. Well I left the drawer .70 cents short and they basically were giving me a lesson in front of everyone. I understand it shouldn’t leave it short by all means. But it was so embarrassing 🤣.
