Help please

My 7 month old son will not sleep! He falls asleep and wakes up 5 mins later. The past few nights he fights me to go to sleep. He wants to be held but pushes himself away from me when I try to cuddle with him and hold him. He will finally go to sleep at 4-5 in the morning and then wake up a few times SCREAMING and CRYING. Naps are a nightmare as well. He sleeps like 15 to 30 mins for naps.
