Would I be rude?

I’m going through a miscarriage, my first one. Today my best friend wants to visit and she lives an hour away…today I woke up and I’m mentally just not okay and I’m on the verge of crying. She asked me if I still want her to come and I don’t want to seem mean but I just want to be alone.

You do what you need to do. If you just want to be alone, then you do that. If she's a good friend, she wouldn't see it as being rude.

If she’s an understanding friend she’ll understand and you can have another day hang out instead. I went through a miscarriage recently and it was nice to have a friend over as a distraction but it’s also so hard to have company over as a whole because of the mental state it puts you through.
