Anyone with one ovaries removed ???

Question

I'm 20weeks pregnant and with a large cyst on one of my ovaries..was told if I get more pain I will have to have it removed along with my ovarie.  I'm scared and just wondering if anyone has had this done and what changes or cons this had had on them..this is my third pregnancy.I have a twelve and nine year old.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in February resulting in the removal of my right tube and ovary...and I'm now 27 weeks pregnant! After only 5 months trying. No side effects either.

I had an ovarian tumour that twisted my ovary and fallopian tube. It was about 12-15cm in diameter. I ended up having surgery and they saved about 20% of my ovary.

I have another one on it now, I have zero hope for it now. It's okay, you'll be okay.

I had a huge cyst on my right ovary when I was pregnant last time. I get them fairly often but this one was ginormous. It was very painful but no one ever brought up removing the ovary.... eventually it re-absorbed itself.

With my second pregnancy It was discovered that I had a cyst on my right ovary. I had it removed a year later along with my ovary. A couple months later I became pregnant and it ended up being an ectopic pregnancy. Not sure if it had to do with my previous surgery but I am now 33 weeks pregnant. Hopefully I gave you some insight.

I had a large cyst on my right ovary they discovered during my anatomy scan with my son back in 2006. They said it would go away and we never thought anything of it. Well, it burst during labor and I have a massive infection from it, resulting in my right ovary being removed. You still have a period every month and your remaining ovary compensates for the hormones and stuff. I don't miss it. Lol

This isn't controversial so post this in general pregnancy but I'm sorry for what your going through! Never went though that! 🙁🙁
