Preeclampsia

Looks like my October baby is going to be a September baby. I was just looking off at work yesterday and the ob ma took my bp just in case and it was 146/95 so she waited an hour and took it again and it was 173/96. She spoke with the ob on-site who advised me to go to the er right away given my history of hypertension in my last pregnancy. So I did after picking up my kid at daycare and getting him settled. I even drove myself there thinking I was going to leave same night. Well I was wrong. My blood pressure wouldn’t go down went all the way to 186/99. They admitted me and wanted to do a C-section that night. We declined because baby girl is only 34 weeks and 4 days so they gave us a couple of options . Magnesium, 2 steroids shots 24 hours apart to help mature her lungs and then reassess. Well my blood pressure is down but they don’t feel comfortable sending me home given how high it was. I am on bed rest today and tomorrow and c section on Friday when she’s at least 35 weeks. Don’t know if this is the right decision. I would like to keep her in until 37 but the doctor doesn’t think that’s a choice as they think my bp will just raise again. What do you ladies think?
