UTI medicine

I went to the doctors on Monday and was told I have a UTI. I was prescribed Macrobid 100 once a day at bedtime for 7 days. It is now Thursday and most of my symptoms other than cramping and lower back pain have gone. Well I found out today that my doctor wrote my prescription wrong and it’s supposed to be twice a day. Do you think this would have effect on the healing process or think it would be able to spread by only taking once a day?

Taking twice a day now.
