Am I being crazy or is it weird?

So my boyfriend has been at this job for about a year. It’s a cell phone job and that stuff takes awhile. And he’s never stayed late at work. Until recently. He’ll come home around 8:30 or 9pm and they close at 7. And when I ask him about it he gets heated tells me he’s not dealing with this shit and to get over how I feel. I understand shit happens but there is no communication between us so I have no idea what’s happening. He always says it’s the customers and he’s working with his boss who does everything by the book. But I genuinely don’t understand why it takes almost two hours to close up a phone place. But honestly correct me if I sound crazy because I know I can be. He could be telling the truth.
