Could I be pregnant?

Question

So I took a test about 2 weeks ago and it was negative but now my period is 8 days late and I’m having horrible cramps and really sore boobs ( yes I know it’s like period symptoms but they are never this bad like ever) I’m 21 and my boyfriend is 22 and has a son with someone else should I get a test considering I’m 8 days late or just wait it out and see if my period comes since these symptoms are also period symptoms?

A test two weeks ago would’ve been a few days past ovulation therefore too early.

I was thinking that maybe you should wait a little and see what happens. Idk how regular you usually are, but I know that I've never been particularly regular. If I missed a period I would test, and when it was negative I'd just hang tight for the next month and see what happened. There was a time that I would take a test about every first of the month to make sure I wasn't pregnant.
But everyone else is saying to test, and there certainly is no harm in doing so. You can get a test for about $1 at Wal-Mart, or just about anywhere really. Two weeks ago would have been too early especially since your period was not due for another couple days. As for when to test, it's always best to test first thing in the morning as you don't really know how far along you would be. I know you said he didn't finish inside recently, but that doesn't necessarily matter. If he's been inside at all you can get pregnant. Taking the risk of sounding vulgar. Men ooz precum through much of a sexual experience. And if that goes inside you can get pregnant as it can have trace amounts of seman (probably spelled wrong, never been good with spelling). 
Good luck, and I hope you get whatever result you prefer. And if you don't start your period a week after testing I would say test again. Unless, like me, you're not particularly regular, but I don't feel like that's the case here.

Definitely take a test. That's how late I was when I tested positive

You could have ovulated late and therefore may be pregnant. My boobs started being tender pretty much the day after the deed was done. I tested a week before my period was due and it was negative. I tested the morning I expected my period and it was blatantly positive. Hard to say unless you test.
