Doctor said.. What does this mean?

“At your appointment Wednesday we will try to arrange an induction for you when you come”
Does this sound like the same day type of thing or what?
Edit: I’m 39w2d- I’ll be 39w4d on the day of appointment.

It just means they will look to see what slots are available at the hospital.

They dont typically schedule those for the same day, no. Sounds like they'll put you on the schedule for another time when you go to your next appt.

Well how far along are you? I doubt it would be same day unless you’re 1) far enough along and 2) are having problems such as high blood pressure/preeclampsia. You’ll be scheduled anywhere from 39-42 weeks unless you have a medical situation in which an induction should be scheduled earlier.
