Family even when they are wrong
Is it some kind of rule to stick to a family member even if they are wrong? Or some code of sorts?
I feel like every time I have a petty argument with my mom, there’s no contact from my dad and neither Brother.
When my husband and I were having an small argument in front of my in-laws about him taking the car to the mechanic and he told me he’s got no time, need to do it myself. They were quick to jump on his side, saying how overloaded he is with work. Yea, because they know more of what he does 24/7 than I.
At some random time about a conversation my husband tells I’m family for my in-laws. And I pointed out that if shit hit the fan, they will always stick by their son. No matter how wrong!
But I’m not like that though, I am protective but if it’s a Spade I call it as one, regardless if they are blood related or not. Because I’m neutral, I’ve been accused by my family, I throw them under the bus. Since I don’t always go along with their biased philosophy.
