Banding hemorrhoids ??

Ok so I have been dealing with a hemorrhoid on and off since my first pregnancy five years ago. I had another one pop up recently and it was thrombosed and terrible but resolved on it’s own finally. During that time I went to the dr and got referred to gastro because I wanted to know my options for getting rid of these. So I went today and had one banded. The dr and the internet made it seem like no big deal but I feel so crampy it’s making me feel sick and nauseous like my husband was thankfully able to come home early to care for our kids because I just feel like shit. Anyone that’s had this done when will this pass? I will add that im getting over a cold, haven’t eaten much because I’ve had no appetite and I didn’t get good sleep last night because my son was up all night so I know that’s all contributing but I’d still be functional if it weren’t for this terrible cramping going on down there like I am soo uncomfortable.
