Toddler bed

My baby boy had climbed out of his crib yesterday so I freaked out thank God I’ve been keeping the gate locked of the stairs . I went in his room almost had a heart attack asking him how he got out 😂 (he is 2 years old and 3 months). We made his crib a toddler bed, so this is what it looks like now. Idk I like it but the headboards should be taller imo. What bed did you get for your toddlers once they werent using a crib anymore? Would you put anything or make anytnung different in this case? He is my first baby We are also in the ends of potty training so if he wakes up and is roaming around how is he supposed to go potty in the AM 🥴 (I take him when he wakes up and all day etc) I am so confused lol I guess Il have to keep all eyes on him in the AM he sleeps in his own room with a monitor(he does sleep through the night thank God).
