Do I introduce milk the day of her 1st birthday?

This might sound like a silly question but my baby has her 1 year check up this Monday but she turned one today. So my question is do I start introducing milk to her today or tomorrow?? So confusing! Also she usually drinks about 24-28 oz of formula a day soo will the amount drop ? I’ll ask pediatrician on Monday all my concerns though I just wanted to know if I literally have to wait a day after her birthday

I waited until the appointment because I didn't know how much regular milk to give. It's like 12-16 ounces of regular milk once you make the switch. My daughter hated cold milk at first so I weaned her. Started half and half of milk and formula and then each week increased milk and decreased formula. And I slowly stopped warming it as well. We were off formula and the bottle by 13 months. It worked well for us that way. But you can start today cold turkey or wait until Monday and ask any questions you have

I’ve seen people on here said they’ve introduced it as early as 11 months. I think you can do it day of what would one day difference make tbh? If you’re concerned and want to wait you can wait til Monday. HBD to baby 🎉🥳

Go for mama!
Limit cows milk to 16oz a day so it doesn’t interfere with solids. Babe should be on (roughly) 3 meals and 2 snacks a day which is the primary source of nutrition.
Neither cows milk nor formula is needed after 1 if babe eats plenty of cheese and yogurt.

I mean there's no rule saying that on your baby's first birthday you have to start introducing milk to them. It's actually not necessary for your child to drink milk if they have a full balanced diet. If you just want to give them milk and they are close to 1 yr you don't have to wait til the exact day they are 1.
