Any experienced moms with hakaa?

I’m breastfeeding and I’m using the wearable breastpump “Bellababy” to make a few bottles for grandma to help feeding baby. I use level 4 of the massage mode for about 2mins and then level 5 of the suction mode for about 13mins, and I get about 90ml to 120ml in total, from both sides. However I’m considering getting a hakaa as I hear that some moms get more milk this way. Does anyone has experience experience on hakaa vs electric pump?
OBS.: my baby is 2w+3d

A haaka would be better. You should not be pumping right now on top of nursing as this can easily cause over supply. The 3-4oz you are getting now is over supply anyway. Stop actually pumping and just nurse baby. If baby gets a bottle absolutely make sure baby is pace fed with a slow flow nipple and you need to pump in replace of that missed nursing session.

About half of my freezer supply is solely from catching my letdown with the haakaa (totaling roughly 1,800 ounces). My daughter is 5 months. I do have an oversupply but I love my haakaa. Keep it attached in a pump bra so baby can’t knock it off. She only feeds from one breast per session and for the first couple month I would be collecting about 3-4oz each session and now I get 1-2oz per session. It adds up throughout the day!

Hi, not too sure if anyone mentioned it but I used the hakka for awhile but didn't end up liking it due to it getting in the babies way while I breastfeed. But I ended up using the elvie curve which has a strong suction still but you can also control it with the vavle on top. This one I was able to wear comfortably in my bra and still breastfeed without it getting in the way. Unfortunately, you only get one when purchasing but I liked it way more and got a second one to use both as a back up once I started to pump more and just to help relieve some of the pressure I felt.

I get about 3 oz from my haakaa. I attach haakaa to one breast while I feed him on the other. When he's done I offer him the other side and swap my haakaa as well. Typically get 3-4 oz with it every time I feed him, whereas I get anywhere from 2-6oz with my electric pump maybe twice a day. I have a little bit of an oversupply because I'm trying to put milk back for when I return to work in 6 weeks.

I personally used both an electric pump I’m and the haakaa. When I pumped one side or feed baby on one side I’d put the haakaa in the other side and just collect. I would end up with a full haakaa by the time I was done.

Loved my hakaas so much, I bought two! While breastfeeding it did the best job catching the let down (and then some) from my other boob. If I slept too long, adding some hot water to it when I out it on helped unclog me too!
