Should I Reset It?

Has anybody else’s phone been acting funny ever since you downloaded IOS16? If I’m on google, sometimes the pages won’t load. The same with Facebook Messenger, I’ll open the app and it won’t let me start a new chat with anyone.. I’ve attached a photo below to help you understand what I mean. The little icon on the top right hand corner is usually blue but I’ll open the app sometimes and it’ll be grey. It only allows me to start new chats if this icon is blue.. Won’t allow me to if it’s grey. This is a brand new iPhone 11. Should I reset my phone? Also, is there a way to reset it without the phone getting rid of my contacts/apps?
