Officially hit 6 months EBF 🙌🏼

My hospital pushed formula on me at birth even though I wanted to BF. I even saw 2 LCs at the hospital, but they didn’t really help. They all told me my baby couldn’t nurse because I was so swollen from my induction taking 3 days. I was adamant so I pumped around the clock trying to get my supply in and waiting for my swelling to decrease. At my first pediatrician appointment (4 days old) my NP who is an IBCLC worked with me for about 45 minutes and got my boy to latch properly for the first time. We haven’t looked back since! My original goal was 6 months and now I can’t imagine stopping. I know it’s not for everyone, but I truly love breastfeeding.
