Hi everyone. I had my baby on Aug 5, went on maternity leave and then had to extend the short term disability through medical leave until 11/11 due to complications and a lupus flare. Today my manager requested a meeting and told me the company is getting rid of my role and told me to apply for the new role they are creating. They will be having interviews next week and I have to apply by this Wednesday. I’m still not feeling 100 percent so this is a lot for me and honestly I’m not sure if they should even be reaching out to me about this while I’m on leave and having me do interviews while on leave. I am meeting with hr tomorrow for clarity but this doesn’t sound right to me.
