Moms who have birthed more than once!

This is SO random but did you act the same every birth?

Example: with my first, I didn’t want anyone touching me, talking to me, I made my mom and fiancé sit in their chairs and let me do it 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

But this time around I’m pregnant again and I so badly want to have my fiancé help me through, I’m also confused on how to tell him to help me. I see so many birthing videos of the fathers just rubbing backs, in the labor tub with mom, it’s almost like they know what to do? Whereas my fiancé would say “you okay?” Every contraction. I tried preparing him but all the articles or videos I’d send or try to watch together he didn’t want to and afterward he admitted he wished he did. I want a helpful partner and I want to accept the help.
