Has anyone actual gotten pregnant from an accident 1 day before your period?

So my husband and I had sex 2 days before and the day before my period. Both times he came in me assuming it's not possible to get pregnant. Well it's a week past the end of my period and I have been super moody like I'm about to get my period. I'm sure it's all in my head but I'm just wondering if anybody has actually gotten pregnant.

Well my fiancé and I had a lot of “fun” on his bday vacation and I was on my period. And here we are 6 months pregnant lol

It is possible but extremely rare. The purpose of your period is to shed the lining and get rid of the already dead unfertilised egg. If your cycle is regular and not all over the place, you should be safe
