White blood count

Has anyone ever experienced very elevated white blood cell count in their twin pregnancy? I know it’s normal for it to be high in pregnancy but mine is 15.9 at 20 weeks which seems VERY high. Doctor called and said results are normal for pregnancy but googling tells me that’s higher than normal….
