Heavy bleeding and clots after transvaginal ultrasound?

I had a transvaginal ultrasound today at 7 weeks and now I’m bleeding like a period with some clots. Why would this happen if baby is measuring perfect and there was the flicker of the heartbeat?

Bleeding can happen after a transvaginal
Ultrasound bc the cervix is extra sensitive. The clots are a little less typical though, but it doesn’t mean something super scary. I would def call your doctor to let them know. They could do blood work to make sure your hcg is rising or do another scan for peace of mind

If you are filling more than a pad in an hour go to the ER, otherwise I would call your doctor in the morning. Some bleeding is common, but like a period is not.
